What happens if the weather is not favorable on the day of the shoot? Will you shoot in any weather?

We closely follow the weather and volcano reports on the island and do our best to avoid shooting when the sky is cloudy or there is noticeable haze over the horizon. If you feel the weather may not conducive to quality photos, please call your photographer at least 1 hour before the shoot in order to discuss options for postponement and shooting on a different day. In most cases we will call you before leaving for the shoot in order to give you the option to reschedule and hope for better weather conditions on a different day. If you decide to cancel the shoot after we have arrived at the photo location, a travel charge may apply.

Can I provide a list of exactly what I would like to have photographed?

Yes! We actually encourage you to provide a shot list which will be used as a guideline for the shoot, sometimes there are technical and/or artistic limitations which won’t allow certain shots to be executed exactly as requested. The list should be prepared in print prior to my arrival at the location.

Can I preview and pick out the photos I like out of all the photos you shot before editing and processing the final photos?

In order to streamline and provide a quick delivery, we usually don’t shoot too many extra photos beyond what is ordered. We do however want to give you the option to be more involved in the image selection process and can send you a link to a preview page of unedited images where you can make a selection of the photos you want to have processed. There is an additional fee and a small delay in processing and delivery of the photos should you choose this option.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule the shoot?

You are free to cancel or reschedule the shoot up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment and there will be no cancellation charge. If you need to cancel while we are on our way to the shoot or once we are already on site, a travel charge may apply. Cancellations due to adverse weather conditions can be made up to an hour before the scheduled shoot.

What areas in Hawaii do you service?

We serve the entire state of Hawaii and we’re based in Kailua Kona, on the Big Island. Our base pricing covers the area between Kona Paradise in the south and Hawi and Waimea in the north. Additional travel fees may apply for locations outside those areas.

What is your turnaround time for photos and videos?

We guarantee delivery of photos within 3-5 Business days, though typically we are able to deliver much sooner. Photos requiring advanced editing services such as Virtual Staging, Daylight to Dusk conversions or heavy retouching may require additional time to complete.

Videos are typiclly delivered within 5 business days.

Rush jobs and expedited delivery are available at an additional charge.

Are you licensed to fly drones?

YES! Our aerial photography specialists are certified pursuant to the FAAs Small UAS Rule (14 CFR Part 107). We stay current on safety regulations and make sure to comply with all federal and local laws.

What photography gear do you use?

We currently shoot with an assortment of Canon and Nikon DSLR cameras fitted with top of the line professional lenses for most go our photo projects. Our video projects are shot on SONY mirrorless cameras.

We use DJI aerial photography platforms for all our aerial video and photography.

Do you provide discounts for multiple orders or corporate rates?

We do provide discounts and special pricing for brokerages. This is especially economical for large offices with many agents who use our services. Please contact us for additional details.

Can I sell or give the photos to the buyer, or another agent if I no longer represent the property, or after I sell it?

The usage license provided with the photos is limited to the use of the listing agent only and cannot be transferred to a 3rd party without our written permission. Copyrights to all photos are retained by the photographer. The agent is granted an exclusive right to use the photos for the life of the listing.

Additional usage rights can be agreed upon.

Do you provide staging services?

We work very closely with some of the best stagers in the industry. While we don’t provide the services ourselves, we’d be happy to connect you with a suitable staging service.

We do however provide virtual staging, where we digitally add realistic furniture and staging items to the photos. this solution works well when on a budget or during busy periods when the stagers are unavailable.
